David Schwappach: Sweden and Switzerland deserve 12 points in preventable psychological harm in cancer care

David Schwappach, Associate Professor Patient Safety and Head of Research Group Patient Safety at Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (ISPM), shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Sweden and Switzerland – often mixed up during the Eurovision Song Contest… but in this case, both deserve 12 points.

A strong collaboration on an important but neglected patient safety topic – preventable psychological harm in cancer care.

Interdisciplinary and international research bringing together committed experts from different fields — what more could we ask for.

We are making big progress on concepts, and planning ahead for our empirical studies starting later this year.
