“25th August 2022 Till Date – God Has Been Faithful
We are thrilled to announce that today marks the 2-year diagnosis anniversary of our Torchbearer, Founder, and Lead Champion, Flora Gabtony (Flourishing Flora) Nwachinemere 1 of Ebenile.
In a fierce display of courage and determination to face whatever odds were thrown at her, Flora heeded good counsel and went in for a Cancer Screening due to a persistent ailment.
However, on that fateful day, upon receiving the news of her diagnosis, rather than succumbing to feelings of dejection and hopelessness, she summoned her inner strength to wage a fierce open battle against cancer.
Today, by God’s grace, she is not only a dogged survivor but also an embodiment of hope and inspiration to many Cancer Patients and Survivors in Nigeria and beyond.
She is indeed our Lead Champion in this new wave of Cancer Awareness and Advocacy, and we heartily celebrate her.
But what if she hadn’t gone for that screening? Again, what if?
That’s why we encourage you to go for a cancer screening if something doesn’t feel right in your body.
Don’t just say ‘God forbid’ until it’s too late. Take action now!
