American Cancer Society and Color Health will be distributing free at-home screening kits
Karen Knudsen shared a post on LinkedIn by Color, adding:
“I am excited to share this new collaboration between the American Cancer Society and Color.
This program is a key component of our overall collaboration with Color to ensure that every individual has access to lifesaving cancer care.
Quoting Color’s post:
“Rural communities face a disproportionately higher colorectal cancer mortality rate compared to urban areas.
To address this gap, the American Cancer Society and Color Health will be distributing free at-home screening kits through select health centers and clinics, bringing vital early detection tools directly to those who need them most.
With full patient support from testing to results, it’s an important step towards health equity in cancer care.
