Summaries of Lung Cancer Screening, Care Pathways, and Early Detection Reports – Lung Cancer Policy Network
Lung Cancer Policy Network shared a post on LinkedIn:
“As lung cancer rates continue to rise, it is more important than ever that policymakers urgently address lung cancer to reduce its burden and improve survival.
Network members often cite low policymaker awareness as a key factor for the limited focus on lung cancer screening and other early detection strategies in policy.
To call more attention to these issues, and the opportunities for improving lung cancer survival that they present, the Network has developed a suite of resources with the goal of engaging policymakers.
This week, we are pleased to be launching summaries of our seminal reports:
Lung cancer screening: learning from implementation.
Care pathways for lung cancer: building a foundation for optimal care.
Increasing the earlier detection of lung cancer: a toolbox for change.
The summaries are aimed at helping those who are less familiar with lung cancer understand the actions we need to take to improve outcomes.
And we hope they will motivate policymakers to join us in making lung cancer a policy priority.”
