Sarah Louden: Writing a book on living with chronic disease
on LinkedIn:
“I’ve made an exciting (and slightly daunting) decision—to write a book on living with chronic disease. It’s a topic that’s deeply personal to me, and I believe it’s time to share my experiences on how a diagnosis can alter our path, impact our identity, and ultimately, strengthen our resilience.
The book does not aim to offer easy answers or a guide to recovery. Instead, I want to explore what it means to live with a diagnosis, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. I want to talk about the reality of life after that fateful collision, when the dust settles, and you’re left to pick up the pieces of a life you no longer recognize.
It’s about finding strength in the face of fear, beauty in the midst of pain, and hope in our new worlds that often feel overwhelmingly uncertain. It’s about learning to live, not in spite of illness, but with it, fully and authentically.
If you have experience in publishing or have written a book, I’d love to connect and hear your insights!
I founded and run Total Health | Oncology, the largest medical education company for free education in cancer in the US, reaching tens of thousands of cancer health providers who all have personal connection to this topic as well as audiences who could benefit.
I am actively involved in autoimmune advocacy, leading a private Facebook page of over 17K people living with and after an Ai diagnosis. I have been featured in numerous media outlets talking about my journey like the Spondylitis Association of America.
I am ready. I believe I have something powerful to share about life after a diagnosis.
