Dana-Farber Cancer Institute celebrates Department of Quality and Patient Safety Staff Recognition Awards
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute shared on LinkedIn:
“Oncology care requires stringent regulation and airtight processes to ensure that patients are safe. Every day, staff in our Department of Quality and Patient Safety work tirelessly to reduce the burden of cancer here and beyond by educating, inspiring, measuring, improving, and innovating to address all pillars of quality across the care continuum.
They are a key part of our mission, and to celebrate all of the outstanding work happening across the department, QPS gathered to celebrate its accomplishments during the past 12 months and the people who made them possible. During the ceremony, leadership spotlighted exceptional individual and team contributions with QPS Staff Recognition Awards.
The annual tradition started in 2019. ‘It’s a chance to take a step back from our long to-do lists and celebrate our ‘ta-da’ lists of accomplishments,’ says QPS Vice President Sarah Kadish. ‘We all get busy and focus on the next agenda item, but it’s important to carve out time to recognize our colleagues and their achievements.’
‘This team’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to collaboration has had a deep and widespread impact on patients,’ adds Chief Quality Officer Michael Hassett.
This year’s QPS Staff Award recipients include:
