“The landscape of medicine has always been characterized by its dynamic evolution, adapting and advancing through the ages albeit at a slow pace. Among the most transformative developments of recent decades are precision medicine, artificial intelligence (AI), and sophisticated cancer screening techniques.
In this special issue of AI in Precision Oncology, we focus on cancer screening and early detection. We have complied research from prominent clinicians, scientists and engineers to showcase where the field is now and where it is heading. The pace of advancement is such that it require a journal such is dedicated exclusively for this field.
The fusion of precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and advanced cancer screening techniques heralds a transformative era in cancer care. As these fields continue to evolve and converge, they hold the promise of a future where cancer detection and prevention are personalized, precise, and profoundly effective, benefiting individuals and society as a whole and creating a potential where cancer can become a preventable and mostly curable disease.”
