”It’s National Hereditary Cancer Week! Did you know that an estimated 10% of cancers may result from inherited mutations? Most people with mutations in cancer susceptibility genes are never identified or are not identified until after a cancer diagnosis.
Patients are at the center of cancer research. Sept 24 is World Cancer Research Day, we remind the research community that all people should have fair and equal opportunities to participate in & benefit from research. National Cancer Plan.”
