Cassian Yee, Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re sending T Cells into Space!
NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s International Space Station National Laboratory / CASIS awarded its Inaugural Ignition Innovation grants to 5 research groups among them, our proposal ‘Microgravity and T Cells’ at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
On behalf of coPI Kunal Rai and our team members Axiom Space, BioServe Space Technologies, Deep Space Biology and Mongoose Bio Inc. we are deeply honoured to be among this group and grateful for the support of CASIS to be able to leverage science in space for the benefit of cancer patients on earth.”
