“Platinum-based chemotherapy affects immune cell composition and tumor microenvironment in urothelial cancer. Increases in CD8+ T cells and PD-L1+ cells, but also fibroblast-based TGF-β signaling, may explain mixed results in clinical trials with chemo and immune checkpoint inhibitors.”
