Are you a person with lived experience of cancer or an emergent leader in cancer care? Be part of this unique meeting hosted by World Health Organization Cancer Team in Geneva on 16 September 2024 at Palais des Nations to co-create priorities for cancer with people affected and emergent leaders toward to an updated 2030 agenda.
Designed as a ‘Model WHO” event to advance WHO’s framework for meaningful engagement of people living with noncommunicable diseases (PLWNCDs), this meeting will give participants the full WHO experience of diplomatic deliberation to determine cancer priorities based on lived experience.
The outcomes will be included in the Global Status Report on Cancer 2025, on the road to the fourth high-level meeting on NCDs in 2025. This presents a unique opportunity to elevate the voices of people affected by cancer on the global health agenda towards 2030 and beyond.
