“Exciting news for cancer patients
We are thrilled to announce the publication of the protocol for the MOREOVER study: Multiomics MR-guided Radiotherapy Optimization in Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer (LARC).
Thanks to the generous support of AIRC – The Italian Foundation for Cancer Research ETS, this groundbreaking study aims to revolutionize the way we predict complete response in LARC patients by integrating radiomics, gut microbiota, and circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) into composite biomarker-based models.
By combining these diverse data sources, we hope to enhance the predictive power of existing models and pave the way for more personalized treatment approaches.
