Reflecting on WHA 76: Strengthening Access to NCD Care and Advancing Global Commitments

As WHA 76 wraps up today, we are grateful for the significant focus on UHC and NCDs that have defined several discussions over the past ten days. We celebrate the passing of the resolution on strengthening access to diagnostics, which marks an important global commitment by member states! Last week, we also proudly launched a milestone six-year report, ‘Key Lessons in Advancing Access to NCD Care: Collaboration, Connectivity, Community’. Developed with our partners – City Cancer Challenge, NCD Alliance, PATH, The World Bank, and World Heart Federation alongside RTI International, the report sheds light on critical insights and learnings across six years of collective action on NCDs. We invite everyone committed to our shared mission of improving access to #NCD care to take the time to read and share these invaluable insights so that we can continue to turn global and national commitments made today into tangible, effective action for the future.
