Sami Mansfield: Often we need to pare back on our habits, not add new ones.

“A timely post! I started the morning by taking a step back from my tasks, requests, and to-do’s to gain a broader perspective of my projects and, most importantly, my goals.
When I have the chance to speak on the six pillars of lifestyle medicine, as I did this past weekend in my new hometown of Denver and will do again this upcoming weekend in my former hometown of Kansas City, I’m reminded that ‘no’ is a complete sentence.
When you say no to certain things, you make time for others. This is one of the biggest foundations of stress management.
Often we need to pare back on our habits, not add new ones. Want to learn more about the integration of lifestyle and cancer, join me in KC this weekend!”
