Sarah Louden: Don’t underestimate the power of democratizing education!

shared a post on LinkedIn:

ASCO Direct Charlotte.
What a whirlwind for me. New conference city, flight cancellations, unplanned challenges…. but….we welcomed just under 150 people for the main meeting, and about 50 more for a Saturday night dinner program (passion project—stay tuned).

When I think of the exponential impact of continuing medical education on the cancer care team, my heart is humbled and honored with joyfulness of what it means on ‘Monday morning’ for patients living with and after a cancer diagnosis.

I’m so proud of Total Health and the way we relentlessly pursue audiences to share life-changing updates.

Everything we offer is free to the learner—don’t underestimate the power of democratizing education!

Every program has a symphony of players and I want to thank our speakers – Richard Kim (Moffitt Cancer Center), Mohamed Salem (Atrium Health), Martin Dietrich, Jimmy Ruiz (Wake Forest University School of Medicine), Seetharamu Nagashree (Northwell Health), Dan Carrizosa, Harry Erba (Duke Cancer Institute), Nilajan Ghosh, Henry Fung (Fox Chase Cancer Center), Michael McCormack, Charles Bennett (University of South Carolina), Frances Collichio (UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center), Kevin Kalinsky (Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University), Sramila Aithal (Alliance Cancer Specialists).

Our programs are enriched by voices like Sami (Papacek) Mansfield and Marianne Sarcich as they share the perspectives of Lifestyle Medicine and the power of the patient!

Our programs can only be offered free through the incredible support of industry and there are too many to thank, but I want to send a special thanks to Gilead Oncology, AstraZeneca, The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson and Exelixis.

Thank you, Kashyap Patel and Mohamed Salem.

A beautiful thank you to Ruben Mesa for all your and your teams help, and your love for education! …and to Natasha Bryant for making that connection.”
