“Phase 2 trial shows celiac plexus radiosurgery offers promising pain relief for advanced cancer.
Among 125 patients with upper GI cancers, 53% experienced partial pain relief at 3 weeks post-treatment with a single 25 Gy dose.
Common side effects were abdominal pain (28%) and fatigue (18%). ”
