Incremental progress in APAC – ASPIRE for Lung Cancer
ASPIRE for Lung Cancer posted on LinkedIn:
“While progress is underway in APAC’s (Acute Post-Acute Care) fight against lung cancer, as demonstrated by improved 5-year survival rates in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, considerable challenges remain for them and other APAC health systems.
Key areas for improvement, include prioritizing lung cancer within national cancer control plans, establishing dedicated funding mechanisms, and promoting equitable access to early detection, diagnosis, precision testing, and advanced therapeutics. These efforts are crucial for shaping a more effective approach to combating lung cancer. .
With the conclusion of our 3-part infographic series, stay tuned for ASPIRE’s flagship white paper, ‘Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Lung Cancer Care and Access in the APAC Region,’ launching in Q3 this year. This paper will provide a comprehensive assessment of current lung cancer policies and actionable insights to enhance access to lung cancer care and management.
Together, let’s aim to accelerate progress and ensure better health outcomes for lung cancer patients in APAC.”
