Jessie Guo: G6PD is essential for KL but not KP lung tumorigenesis

“Check out our new publication in Nature Communications. Our studies found that G6PD is essential for KL but not KP lung tumorigenesis. Thus, targeting G6PD could be a potential therapeutic strategy for tumors with KRAS and LKB1 co-mutations.

‘Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase maintains redox homeostasis and biosynthesis in LKB1-deficient KRAS-driven lung cancer’
