“On Monday, July 15 the Biden Cancer Moonshot along with StateDept and International Atomic Energy Agency will host a White House Africa Cancer Care Forum convening senior health leadership from 10 African nations.
I will be speaking in a panel on U.S. capacity-building efforts in cancer control in Africa along with Satish Gopal, Hedvig Hricak, and Nuclear Regulatory Commisioner David Wright – moderated by Will Ngwa.

Julie Gralow is the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Previously, she was the Jill Bennett Endowed Professor of Breast Cancer at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Professor in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, as well as Director of Breast Medical Oncology at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. She is the founder of the Women’s Empowerment Cancer Advocacy Network (WE CAN).
