“A hospital uses AI to identify patients in their ED whom benefit from hospice. Some are even placed under observation and not admitted to the hospital.
Then, they have goals of care conversations in the emergency department and facilitate transition to hospice. I hope that we can soon use this approach in all our hospitals.”
