“World Gynecologic Oncology Day – September 20.
From a single initiative within the ESGO ENGAGe community to a worldwide campaign, World GO Day has grown remarkably in just 7 years. Today, it is recognised across the globe with over 250 events in more than 40 countries, organised by patient groups, hospitals, medical professionals, and survivors.
This growth reflects the extraordinary commitment of a united community working to raise awareness of gynaecological cancers, break down stigma, and amplify women’s voices.
As part of this global movement, I’m proud to support my local community here in Prague by joining the Purple Ride organised by Veronika Cibulová.
Thank you European Society of Gynaecological Oncology for making it possible. I am very proud to work on this campaign, that is truly more than just work for me.”
