Zara Baloch: AI Reproducibility, Confidence, and Hidden Uncertainty in Oncology Decision-Making

Zara Baloch, Review Editor | Editorial Board Member at OncoDaily, Director Quantitative Research and Meta Analysis, Digital Education Manager and Host at MedNews Week, shared on LinkedIn:

“Yesterday, I had the opportunity to deliver a podium presentation at Moffitt Cancer Center.

At the 2026 Dr. Robert Gillies Machine Learning Workshop in Cancer, I presented our research on AI reproducibility, confidence, and hidden uncertainty in oncology decision-making.

It was an incredible experience sharing our findings, presenting two research posters, and connecting with researchers working at the intersection of AI and cancer care.

A huge thank you to Massive Bio and MedNews Week for fostering opportunities for research, innovation, and collaboration.

I’m especially grateful to Dr. Arturo LoAIza-Bonilla and Dr. Yan Leyfman for their incredible mentorship, encouragement, and continued support.

And a special shoutout to our entire research team for their hard work, dedication, and collaboration in bringing these projects to life!

Grateful for the people behind the work and excited for what’s ahead!”
