“Excited to join my first meeting of the European Cancer Organisation, following my recent appointment as a member of the International Committee. I sincerely appreciate the honour.

Conscious of the rising global cancer burden, the G7 Leaders recently issued the Call on the Fight Against Cancer. This underscores the need to strengthen North–South collaboration through organisations such as the European Cancer Organisation.

Looking forward to working alongside Dr. Isabel T. Rubio, President of the European Cancer Organisation, as I also begin my tenure as UICC President.
Let’s get to work!”
