“Honored to have been invited as a Distinguished Keynote Speaker at the 2026 World Aging and Longevity Conference (WALC) in Tokyo, Japan.
It was a tremendous privilege to join an international community of scientists, clinicians, and innovators dedicated to advancing medicine and shaping the future of human health.
During my keynote, ‘Bridging the Trial-Matching Gap in Cell & Gene Therapy with Artificial Intelligence: Real-World Validation of an mCODE-Aligned GPT-4o Platform,’ I had the opportunity to share our research exploring how AI can help overcome longstanding barriers to clinical trial access, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of cellular and gene therapies.
Innovation is only meaningful when it reaches the patients who need it most.
As we enter a new era of precision medicine, our responsibility extends beyond developing powerful technologies. We must ensure that these innovations are clinically meaningful, rigorously validated, and accessible to patients regardless of their geography, background, or where they receive care.
I am sincerely grateful to the conference organizers and Magnus Group for the kind invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this important global dialogue.
A very special thank you to Dr. Arturo LoAIza-Bonilla whose exceptional mentorship, unwavering support, and visionary leadership continue to inspire me. Your guidance has been instrumental in advancing our research, opening doors to new opportunities, and challenging us to think bigger about what we can accomplish for our patients. I am truly fortunate to have you as a mentor, collaborator, and friend.
Scientific progress is never the achievement of one individual. It is the product of dedicated teams, extraordinary mentors, and a shared belief that we can – and must – do better for our patients.
The future of medicine will not be defined by technology alone, but by our ability to translate innovation into meaningful improvements in human lives.
Grateful for the opportunity to share our work on the global stage and excited for what lies ahead.”
