”New research from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) reveals that nearly 1 in 4 older adults who were not in optimal well-being at baseline regained it within three years.
Those who were younger, married, physically active, non-smokers, had higher income, and fewer chronic conditions were more likely to recover well-being.
These findings suggest that declines in health and happiness with age aren’t inevitable — and that lifestyle and social factors can make a meaningful difference.”
