William Dale, Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs at City of Hope, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Season’s Greetings from The Dales of California!
It has been a year of adventures, full of travel, transitions, and travails. So proud of the twins, Harrison and Austin, for embracing college life and Xander for Berkeley graduation! My work at City of Hope and Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG) led to global trips, discussing the importance of GeriOnc and Supportive Care worldwide, with deepest thanks to my teams in Research & Training and the Center for Cancer & Aging.
Xander and Tamra joined me in places like Mount Everest Base Camp, Nepal; Reykjavik, Iceland; and Kangaroo Island, Australia! Austin and Xander started new jobs, Harrison crushed his classes and Survivor-UCLA (4th place), and Tamra kept all the plates spinning and logistics organized while transforming her health and fitness.
So grateful to have everyone here in SoCal for the holidays, and to celebrate our lives together, even as everyone ventures into their emerging lives ahead.
Peace to everyone, excitement in your pursuits, and wishing you all a fantastic 2026!”
