“Team Paperi – Never Forget Why We Started!
Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much.’ – Helen Keller
Dear Team Paperi,
When you begin a new day, let us remember that no meaningful movement is built by one person alone. It is built by people who support one another, share knowledge, open doors for others, and keep moving forward together – even when the journey becomes difficult.
At PAPERI, every contribution matters. Your idea, your effort, your encouragement, your willingness to help another member, and your decision to keep showing up all strengthen our collective mission.
There will be challenging days. Progress may sometimes feel slow. Opportunities may not come as quickly as we hope. But when those moments arrive, remember why we started.
We started with a vision bigger than ourselves: a future in which African voices shape genomics policy, African professionals have the capacity to lead, and African communities help determine how genomics serves our continent.
Genomics Policy for Africa – By Africans
This is not just a slogan. It is the purpose that brings us together, the vision that should guide our work, and the fuel that keeps us moving when the road gets difficult.
- So this week:
- Support one another. Someone else’s growth strengthens our community.
- Share your ideas. Your contribution could spark something meaningful.
- Take initiative. Don’t wait for someone else to make things happen.
- Keep going. Difficult days are not a reason to abandon a meaningful vision.
Work together. Our greatest impact will come not only from what we achieve individually, but from what we build collectively.
Never forget the dream. Never lose sight of the mission. And never underestimate what we can accomplish when we work together.
Paperi is a movement for African voices, African capacity, and African leadership in genomics.
Africa is ready not only to participate – but to lead.
Africa is speaking – the world must listen.
Rise with purpose. Work with commitment. Support one another. Lead together.
Have a purposeful and productive week, Team Paperi!”
