Valsamo Anagnostou: Tracking Gastroesophageal Cancer Evolution in Real Time

Valsamo Anagnostou, Co-Director of Thoracic Oncology Precision Medicine Center of Excellence and Division of Upper Aerodigestive Malignancies and Alex Grass Professor of Oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Conversed with Samik Upadhaya about our Cancer Research Institute (CRI) funded research on capturing gastroesophageal cancer evolution through multi-omic analyses of tumors and circulating tumor DNA.

Supported by a CRI/Torrey Coast Foundation GEMINI CLIP award, we presented a series of studies at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting last week, ultimately aiming to develop biomarkers and minimally invasive approaches to optimize therapy and identify new targets for therapeutic intervention for individuals with gastro-esophageal cancers receiving immunotherapy.”
