Urvashi Prasad, Editor in Chief of the Global South Healthcare Journal and Visiting Senior Fellow at IMPRI Impact and Policy Research Institute, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Such an incredible honor to be recognized with the Ravi Prakash Memorial Award, presented by the CRSF – Cancer Research and Statistic Foundation and Lung Connect India Foundation.
This award embodies the extraordinary legacy of Shri Ravi Prakash whose tireless advocacy for people living with lung cancer in India continues to inspire. It was due to his singular efforts that the state of Jharkhand made cancer a notifiable disease.
For over 15 years, my work has been about making invisible health crises visible – bridging evidence with empathy, and ensuring patients are not left behind.
This recognition strengthens my resolve to keep pushing for equity in cancer care and public health.”
