“UICC’s General Assembly 2026 will meet virtually on 20 October 2026 to welcome Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu as President and elect the Board of Directors and President-elect for 2026–2028.
The candidates for President-elect are:
- GILBERTO de lima LOPES Junior (United States of America)
- Asem Mansour (Jordan)
- CS Pramesh (India)

Every two years, the General Assembly brings together UICC members to review the organisation’s work, set its future direction and elect its leadership.
Only full UICC members are eligible to vote.
The General Assembly 2026 will be chaired by outgoing President Ulrika Årehed Kågström.
In addition to the President-elect, members will also vote for 14 Board members from a shortlist of 24 candidates.
