Paper out! In this study we show a malignant cell state with features of an epithelial injury-associated regenerative state drives conversion of premalignant lesions to malignancy and progression and drug resistance in advanced cancers. We are very excited about translating our findings to patients together with collaborators at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and around the world.
