Timothy Pawlik has been Awarded the Prestigious Ludwik Rydygier Silver Medal in Poland

“Congratulations and well deserved. Tim is such an amazing all around person! Besides his prodigious academic pedigree (including 3 years as a surgical oncology fellow at UT MD Anderson Center), Tim has a Masters Degree from Harvard Divinity School plus a wonderful marriage to his lovely wife Megan and 4 children!”

“Kudos to Timothy Pawlik, MD, PhD, professor and chair of Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, who has been awarded the prestigious Ludwik Rydygier Silver Medal in Poland in recognition of his outstanding scientific and research contributions to advancing medical sciences internationally.

Additionally, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens has conferred upon him the title of doctor honoris causa, its highest honorary distinction, recognizing his exemplary scholarship, clinical excellence and leadership in surgical oncology. Dr. Pawlik was also elected to the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Board of Governors, which is dedicated to improving the care of surgical patients and upholding the highest standards of ethical practice. A well-earned hat trick of achievements for Dr. Pawlik!”
