International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“November 1 marks the first day of Lung Cancer Awareness Month! Each year, millions of people around the world are affected by lung cancer. Members of the IASLC and the thoracic oncology community work every day toward our vision: Conquering Lung and Other Thoracic Cancers Worldwide in the 21st Century.
Earlier this year, the WHO approved a landmark resolution on lung health – a major step toward addressing the causes and risk factors of respiratory diseases, including lung cancer.
Learn more about the resolution and its global impact here.
Please support the IASLC’s mission to fight lung cancer by considering a donation to the IASLC Foundation, which helps fund critical research and early career programs.”
