Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, shared a post on X:
“It was a pleasure to meet with Željka Cvijanović., Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We discussed WHO’s restructuring and prioritization process to right-size the organization and continue advancing Health for All while maintaining its independence and core values as a science-based organization.
I look forward to strengthening collaboration with Bosnia and Herzegovina on priority health areas, including preventing and managing noncommunicable diseases such as diabetes and tobacco-related conditions, strengthening primary health care, and addressing health workforce challenges.”
