“Last weekend, 15th Novi Sad Oncology Congress in Novi Sad once again confirmed its role as one of the most important oncology meetings in Central and Eastern Europe – bringing together experts from more than 15 countries and truly connecting East and West through knowledge, experience, and collaboration.
I was honored to be part of this inspiring congress and to contribute to the dialogue from the patient perspective.
Engaging with leading oncologists, researchers, and other professionals reminded me how essential it is that we continue to learn from each other – and, most importantly, work together.
What stood out most was not only the high-level scientific program, but the openness for discussion, exchange of perspectives, and genuine interest in improving outcomes for patients. These are exactly the kinds of spaces where real progress happens.
Events like this reinforce a simple but powerful truth:
innovation in oncology requires strong collaboration-between science, clinical practice, and the broader healthcare community, including patients.
