“Yesterday in Vienna, the IMPACT-EU team brought together Work Package leaders and Steering Committee members for a focused in-person working meeting.
With representatives from all six Work Packages around the table, we took the opportunity to reflect on progress, work through some key moments for the project, and have open, constructive discussions about next steps. We also identified new potential risks and jointly discussed practical strategies to mitigate them as the project moves forward.
These exchanges were especially valuable as they helped align perspectives and set the scene for today’s Consensus Meeting, where a broader group will work together towards developing European guidelines on psychosocial standards of care in paediatric oncology.
What stood out most was the value of being in the same room – open discussion, shared problem-solving, and a strong collective commitment.”
