Advancing Precision Oncology Partnerships – Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium

Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium shared on LinkedIn:

“Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Maik Rutschmann, General Manager, Roche Pharmaceuticals Singapore and his team for a meaningful discussion on our ongoing collaborations and future opportunities to advance oncology research and innovation.

The session underscored the strong partnership between STCC and Roche, marked by STCC’s membership in Roche’s international multidisciplinary Centers of Oncology Research Excellence (imCORE) network.

Notably, STCC is the first Southeast Asian member, and the only APAC institution to receive a prestigious imCORE research grant this year.

It also provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on upcoming initiatives, and emerging trends in areas such as precision oncology.

This included the aim of uniting public and private sectors to build a cancer genomic database in Singapore and advance comprehensive genomic profiling in routine care.

Together, our teams explored new avenues to strengthen collaboration in oncology research, clinical development and targeted treatments for cancer care.

We look forward to deepening our partnership with Roche Singapore to accelerate innovation and development of new novel therapies for better patient outcomes! “
