“We are pleased to introduce Dr Sim Yirong as part of the faculty for the 14th Asia-Pacific Breast Cancer Summit (APBCS 2026).
Dr Sim graduated with a medical degree and a PhD from the University of Cambridge and obtained her Fellowship with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She completed an Advanced Breast Surgery Fellowship in Oncoplastic Surgery and Translational Research at Seoul National University Hospital under the Healthcare Manpower Development Programme (HMDP).
Her professional focus lies in breast cancer research and medical education, contributing to the advancement of surgical practice and knowledge translation across the region.
