“Some moments are very special… It is always a pleasure for me to come back to European School of Oncology activities. Each time, it feels so warm.
But today was especially emotional. A couple of years ago, I was a participant at the Pediatric Oncology Masterclass.
And today I was invited to be a discussant in the sarcoma session during the same masterclass.
With my mentors… Prof. Andrea Ferrari and Prof. Leo Kager!!!
To come back now in this role, and to stand on the same stage with the people who influenced my career so much and taught me from A to Z about bone and soft tissue sarcomas, is truly special.
ESO has had a huge impact on my professional journey, and returning always feels like coming back to a place that shaped me in many ways.
