Sendurai Mani: A Truly Impactful FASEB Science Research Conference on Cellular Plasticity in Cancer

Sendurai Mani, Professor of Medicine at Brown University, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“In May 2025, Drs. Stephanie Ma, Vivian Li, and Justin Lathia organized a truly impactful FASEB Science Research Conference on Cellular Plasticity in Cancer, an inspiring gathering that brought together global leaders in cancer biology to examine how cellular plasticity influences tumor evolution, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance.

Following the meeting, the organizers and contributors worked tirelessly to produce a comprehensive meeting report, now published in Cancer Heterogeneity and Plasticity: “Advancing Cancer Biology: Highlights from the 2025 FASEB SRC on Cellular Plasticity in Cancer.”

This collaborative article features insights from an exceptional group of scientists, including Hans Clevers, Ankur Sharma, Anna Golebiewska, Axel Behrens, Wai Leong Tam, Loic Deleyrolle, Huiping Liu, Karuna Ganesh, Erwei Song, Walid Khaled, Shaheen Sikandar, Terence Lee, Tyler Miller, Dean Tang, Prajwal Rajappa, and Sheila Singh, among others, each contributing groundbreaking perspectives that made this conference in Hong Kong unforgettable.

Congratulations to all the authors, and heartfelt thanks to Stephanie Ma, Vivian Li, and Justin Lathia for their leadership in organizing such an inspiring meeting and bringing this report to publication. The full open-access paper is attached here.”
