Sarah Elitzur։ St. Jude Hematological Malignancies Program Retreat Highlights Research and Collaboration

Sarah Elitzur, Director-Division of Leukemia/Lymphoma at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared on LinkedIn:

“Thank you to everyone who attended the recent St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center Hematological Malignancies Program Retreat at Dixon Gallery and Gardens.

This retreat brought together HMP members and collaborators from across St. Jude for a day dedicated to exploring the breadth and richness of our research.

This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our ongoing work, celebrate our collaborations, and spark new ideas at the interface of basic, translational, and clinical science, while reflecting on how far we have come and charting our path forward in a rapidly evolving therapeutic landscape.

A special thank you to Comprehensive Cancer Center Director Charles Roberts, Senior Deputy Director co-leader of the HMP, Charles Mullighan and organizing committee members – Paulina Velasquez, and Alyssa Kennedy.

Another special thank you to Dr. Ching-Hon Pui, Julie R. Park, and to all retreat speakers and moderators.

I would also like to recognize Rachel W. and Jordan Booth for their wonderful organizing efforts.

We are already looking forward to 2027 as we continue planning our next HMP retreat.”
