Sandro V Porceddu, Director of Department of Radiation Oncology at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I am thrilled to announce that Dr Lessandra Chee will be joining the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Department of Radiation Oncology as our new radiation oncologist working in the head and neck unit mainly at our Moorabbin campus at Monash Health.
Dr Chee completed her radiation oncology training through the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Alfred Health, followed by a fellowship at the University Health Network Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. During this time, she developed advanced expertise in the multidisciplinary management of head and neck cancers and established research interests in oropharyngeal and oral cavity carcinoma.
Following her return to Australia, she joined the Andrew Love Cancer Centre, where her clinical practice has focused strongly on head and neck cancer management. Dr Chee is also an active member of the Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG Cancer Research) Head and Neck and Skin Working Group.”
