Sabin Goktas Aydin, Associate Professor at Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Training Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in BMC Cancer:
“Excited to share our latest publication in BMC Cancer ‘Cognitive flexibility, memory, and attention in colorectal cancer: findings from a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment.’
In this prospective study, we evaluated cognitive outcomes in colorectal cancer patients after chemotherapy compared with healthy controls. We found significant impairments in learning capacity, attention, and executive function, especially among stage IV patients.
Grateful to my co-authors and colleagues for their collaboration and dedication on this project.”
