“Cancer care is more than medicine. It is about love, hope, and the power of community!
What a beautiful evening at Self Regional Healthcare’s Pretty in Pink celebration!
Tonight was about so much more than pink decorations, delicious food, and beautiful smiles. It was about celebrating breast cancer survivors, honoring their courage, and surrounding them with love from family, friends, healthcare teams, and our community.
So heartwarming to see our leadership team CEO Matthew Logan, COO Kendra Keeney, and CMO Priya Kumar, joining us to celebrate and support our survivors!
A huge thank you to our amazing Cancer Center staff, food service team, and all the volunteers who gave their time and hearts to make this evening so special!
Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, missed you tonight! We are usually a duo, but tonight I had to go solo! While I was celebrating our survivors here at Self, you were in DC for the ASCO Health Policy Committee meeting, advocating for our patients. Different places, same mission!
As a community oncologist, evenings like this remind me why I love what I do and why I am so passionate about community cancer care.
Cancer care is not just about treating a disease. It is about caring for people, supporting families, celebrating life, and making sure no one walks the cancer journey alone.
This is the power of community. This is the heart of cancer care.
So proud to be part of the Self Regional family and the wonderful community we serve!”
