“I am deeply honored and grateful to have been elected as the Community Oncology Representative to the Bladder Task Force of the National Cancer Institute Genitourinary Cancers Steering Committee.
My journey in community oncology inspired me to enter the selection process, and I am truly grateful for the trust and opportunity to serve.
Through MUSC Hollings Cancer Center/NCI NCORP, I have been fortunate to work with and learn from Dr. Joanna Metzner-Sadurski, whose leadership in bringing clinical trials to our communities has shaped my journey. As Dyad Director, I have helped champion our multidisciplinary urologic tumor board. I am equally inspired by Dr. Gevorg Tamamyan’s commitment to underserved patients and equitable cancer care.
I look forward to learning from the outstanding experts on the Bladder Cancer Task Force and bringing the community and rural oncology voice to help make clinical trials more accessible, practical, and representative.
Grateful for the opportunity to learn, contribute, and serve.”
