Rima Torosyan: How Differences Between IIRC and ICRB Classifications Affect Staging and Prognosis in Retinoblastoma

Rima Torosyan, Ophthalmologist at Wigmore Clinic, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:

“I am happy to share that our latest research paper on retinoblastoma has been published in Cancers MDPI and is now available on PubMed.

In this study, we analyzed outcomes from 642 eyes with retinoblastoma to explore how differences between the IIRC and ICRB classifications affect staging and globe salvage prognosis.

Our findings show that discrepancies between these systems may have important implications for prognostic accuracy and clinical decision-making.

Grateful to everyone who contributed to this work.”
