Reena Khulal: Celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month at PAHS

Reena Khulal, Programme Officer-Nepal at World Child Cancer, shared on LinkedIn:

”Celebrating Childhood Cancer Awareness Month at PAHS.

Proud to be part of the Childhood Cancer Awareness Month celebration at Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS), bringing together childhood cancer survivors and parents through a meaningful Parents Support Group Meeting.

The program provided a valuable platform to share experiences, strengthen peer support, celebrate survivorship, and remind ourselves of the importance of continued support for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Heartfelt appreciation to the PAHS, Leo foundation and teams for organizing this meaningful event, with support from World Child Cancer (WCC).

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to host and facilitate the program. It was a privilege to contribute to an initiative that puts children, survivors, and families at the heart of childhood cancer care.

Together, let’s continue to raise awareness, strengthen support systems, and work towards better outcomes for every child with cancer.”
