“During International Women’s Day 2026, I reflected on the women who shaped my life across history, family, and daily practice.
From Queen Ahhotep I, who showed resilience in the hardest moments of war, to my mother, who taught me how to think, when to fight, and how much hope I should hold on to, to my cancer patients, whose strength gives hope even in the most difficult battles.
What is the link between all these women?
Resilience.
The ability to hold on to ambition, to fight for it, and to keep moving forward despite every challenge.
This is why we celebrate Women’s Day.”
