Ranin Soliman, Head of the Health Economics and Value Unit (HEVU) at Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt (CCHE) – 57357, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This year’s EBMLive conference in Oxford was exceptionally amazing and inspiring.
I had the opportunity to present a seminar, alongside Sir Muir Gray and Anant Jani, on our planned initiative to promote Value-based Healthcare in Egypt to improve health outcomes with better allocation and utilisation of resources..
Presented two amazing systematic review research projects generating high-quality evidence on behalf of the research teams; ‘Costs and Cost-effectiveness of Next-Generation Sequencing (#NGS) in Cancer Diagnosis’ led by Nancy Sobhy Bolous and ‘Effectiveness of tele-mental health care interventions for women since the COVID-19 pandemic’ led by Serena Kao.
And my favorite part was presenting about the Oxford Egypt EBHC Alliance, highlighting the objectives and scope of work of this collaborative initiative and discussing with David Nunan and Carl Heneghan the Alliance’s future plans and activities.. Always grateful and acknowledging the support of Dr Tarek Moharram in the Alliance.
It gives me immense pleasure to be surrounded by passionate, like-minded individuals and experts in Evidence-Based Healthcare. Thanks, Carl Heneghan for the inspiration and an amazing conference.. That was a reminder and a great push for me to keep moving forward when things get tough.”
