Rajwanth Veluswamy, Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU Langone Health, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited to share the upcoming 2026 Brooklyn Lung Cancer Conference, taking place August 8-9 in Brooklyn, NY.
This CME-accredited meeting will bring together 50+ leading experts in thoracic oncology to discuss the latest evidence and emerging strategies in the treatment of NSCLC and SCLC, with a focus on translating innovation into better patient care.
It’s an honor to co-chair this meeting alongside my NYU colleagues, Drs. Abraham Chachoua and Joshua Sabari. Looking forward to two days of meaningful discussions, multidisciplinary collaboration, and showcasing innovative research from fellows and junior faculty.
We are extending the research proposal deadline to July 15 and are excited to offer a $50K pilot grant to support innovative work from fellows and junior faculty in lung cancer research. Special thanks to our review committee – Drs. Corey Langer, Tina Cascone, Shirish Gadgeel, and Vamsi Velcheti – for helping support this initiative.
Hope to see many of you there!”
